Mona Abas Mokbial Salim

Position:  Lecturer (pending institutional affiliation)


Research Interests: Risk analysis, public health governance, crisis communication, and behavioral resilience in

 conflict-affected settings.


Biography: Dr. Mona Salim is from Yemen. She received her Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics and Robotics

Engineering from Taiz University, Yemen, in 2013. She completed her Master of Management Science (2017) and 

PhD in Management Science and Engineering (2025) at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC),

where she studied under the supervision of Professor Wei Jiuchang . Her doctoral research focused on infodemic ,

resilience , risk analysis , risk interaction and integrating the Protective Action Decision Model with 

resilience theory to examine the impact of infodemics, e-health literacy, and household characteristics on 

health behavior in conflict zones.


Publications: Her work has been published in Risk Analysis and the Open Access Journal of Business and Management.
